Happy New Year to Capital Region fellow Nurse Practitioners!
Our first dinner meeting together is still planned for January 29. More to come when location/topic has been finalized by host. Please BRING NP FRIEND!
The service project for 2025 is going to sponsor IRIS Domestic Violence Center. This program has been in existence for over 46 years. it services East Baton Rouge Parish as well as 7 other surrounding parishes. The facility can house up to 46 families. In 2024, over 300 families were assisted and as of mid January 2025, 27 new families have already sought resources. They are even planning a pet friendly wing soon. Please join LANP in supporting this valuable resource by donating at each monthly meeting. For January, please bring queen size sheets.
