Facility:
This facility is a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans by providing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. They operate through two models: per diem work at their facilities or through providers' own offices to support Veterans across the country.

Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Job Details:
• Position located in Spooner, WI (25 mile radius) - 2 days per week needed • Per Diem work at VES location - no own office needed • Perform one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments • Primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessment (range of motion testing, muscle strength testing) • No prescribing or treatment required • Option to work half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours) • Quick credentialing and onboarding process • Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions • Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products) • Requires AANP certification • Active and unrestricted Wisconsin license required • Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified • Follow-up administrative work required on a regular basis (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics) • Weekend availability accepted but not required • Local candidates only, travel included in rates

Compensation:
